Stearman

A Boeing Stearman.  This bi-plane was mass produced during the 30's and 40's and used as a trainer during the war.  This one is on display at the Aviation Musem in Charlotte NC.

Phantom II

The F-4 Phantom II is a twin engine, two seat fighter bomber that can reach speeds of Mach 2.2.   This particular F-4 was, at one time assigned to the U.S.M.C - Oorah!

Corsair II

The Vought Corsair II on display at the Charlotte Aviation Museum. The Corsair II was built between the 1960's thru 1980's by Vought, who also built the original Corsair - the iconic F-4U from WWII.

Super Tomcat

An F-14D Super Tomcat on display at the Charlotte Aviation Museum. This particular F-14 was assigned to Fighter Squadron VF-143 "Pukin' Dogs" and the last one to drop ordinance in combat over the Gulf.
