Mother

Today is her birthday, and I post this in honor and tribute to her.  She has gone by many names: Teacher, Nana, and Mom.   When I think of my mother, I often recall this photograph (2011) of her, and wonder what she was thinking during this time. I thank her for always being there, and in supporting my life and decisions, and hoping that along the way I have made her proud. 

Today is her special day, and I hope she has a wonderful day!!
